Maurice LaMarche is a Canadian-American, comedian, impressionist and Primetime Emmy® Award winning voice actor. He is best known for his countless voice roles in various animated shows, such as Chief Quimby in the 1983 cartoon series Inspector Gadget, as well as portraying Gadget himself in two live-action segments of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! before taking over as the character's official voice (following Don Adams' retirement). He also voiced Egon Spengler in The Real Ghostbusters and Kif Kroker, Calculon, and other characters in the Fox sci-fi sitcom Futurama. Additionally, he voiced Dizzy Devil in Warner Bros.' Tiny Toon Adventures, Brain from the Pinky and the Brain segments of Animaniacs (as well as its subsequent spin-off series), Big Bob Pataki in Nickelodeon's Hey Arnold!, Principal Pixiefrog in Cartoon Network's My Gym Partner's a Monkey, Hovis in Catscratch, and Igg the Jersey Cow in Barnyard and its spin-off TV series. He also took over the voice role of Balto in the sequel films Balto II: Wolf Quest and Balto III: Wings of Change.Prior to his voice over work, LaMarche dabbled in stand up comedy.
